I’m a writer and editor by training, and have spent the past 14 years in Federal business development as a proposal manager.
As a writer, I enjoy learning new things, understanding complex systems and topics, and rendering that knowledge into readable copy that’s comprehensible by normal people—not just techies or experts.
As an editor, I’m skilled at enforcing standard or corporate style guides, and helping authors polish their writing so it’s clean, clear, and compelling.
As a proposal manager, I have extensive experience architecting proposal responses based on RFP requirements, helping refine discriminators and win themes, and wrangling the various components necessary provide a compliant proposal on time.
